Mission Statement
• Drive Profitable Business Line Automotive Tier 1 (BL AutoTier1) Sales Growth at the Key Account; grow ABB Group Sales as a second step.
• Develop, implement and manage Account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Coordinate the sales activities and manage resolution of specific customer problems

Your responsibilities

  • • Lead a capture team (with proposal, testing and project manager) of Account Managers, to drive profitable growth.
  • • Establish « Roadmaps » per offering (Robots, Robots Accessories, Function Packages, Robot Cells, Full Turn-key Solutions
  • • Develop a « Player Map » and implement a program to « connect » the Key Account and ABB RA AutoTier1 executives on a regular basis in order to further develop business and relationships.
  • • Be the local face towards the Key Account with the principle account “decision makers” at both the executive office and principle factory locations.
  • Challenges
  • • Leader of a virtual Capture Team with no direct reports. Needs to engage with different organizations to achieve results.
  • • Required to establish and drive an account strategy.
  • • Required knowledge of different application of market: welding/painting/plastic etc.
  • • Must be able to interact and influence at all levels in the Customer’s ABB’s organization.

Your background

  • • 10+ years of commercial experience in Key Account Management roles for accounts; strong preference will be given to candidates with first-hand knowledge of robotics automation in Automotive Suppliers Manufacturing environment and with a network of contacts with the customer
  • • Seasoned commercial campaigner in dealing with complex decision-making units (DMU’s) within large global customer organisations
  • • Strong international background
  • • Experience with customers including sales, problem resolution, negotiation skills, and relationship building
  • • Networking, leadership, communication, structured approach, negotiation skills, strong business acumen and nice personality
  • • Willingness to travel extensively (~50%).
  • • Required Mandarin Chinese/English speaking person
