You’ll plan and direct all aspects of product engineering that relate to outdoor consumer lighting product development. Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives.  Provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/ policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructure of a factory locates in Dongguan.

• Directs and manages Engineer Team, drives the coordination between the team and other function teams.
• Accountable for meeting NPI timelines, quality and customer expectation
• Applies DFMEA process in NPI process and builds knowledge database to standardize best design practice
• Has knowledge in materials that applied in products , such as plastic, fabric, electronic components etc.
• Mentors and coaches Engineering Team members, works closely with QA to stay in alignment with resolving technical issues on products or performance
• Monitors resource utilization and maintain efficient department operation, conducts KPI performance review of team members
• Communicates project status and resource capacity to Business Units to drive brand growth through design and development
• Manages functional department’s yearly budget
