As member of local business line procurement team, the senior buyer is responsible for all purchasing activities and KPIs for local profit center – house & Packaging and DSC

Your responsibilities

  • Converting purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) to support project execution, clarifying PR requirements with project manager and creating PO including special requirements order for project.
  • Releasing PO to suppliers, managing order acknowledgement by suppliers and confirming delivery schedule back to project team.
  • Being responsible for PO changes requested by project managers and clarifying new requirements between project team and supplier to ensure the changes fulfilled and project delivered to meet customer needs.
  • Supporting project team to track PO execution and delivery, managing supplier OTD performance.
  • Performing SAP data maintenance, vendor master data creation, change and block& unblock.
  • Involving in SCM reporting and administration, contract management and letter of guarantee management.
  • Managing invoice issue and PO advance payment, handling all kinds of purchase related system tools as key user and managing SCM QMS.

Your background

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Economic, Logistics, and other Engineering major.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with at least 3 years in supply chain management in large industrial plants.
  • Should be experienced in SAP/Oracle ERP system, supply chain management, MS offices; analytical skills and data management.
  • Good at communications, English fluent both in writing and speaking
  • Should be passionate and have willingness to take challenges.
  • Should exhibit traits like accountability, ability to deliver result, self-discipline , self-motivation.
  • Must be eager to learn and drive changes.
