Job Description:

· To install, repair and commission new machines under the Multivac product range e.g. thermoforming and chamber machines.

· To repair/ overhaul and retrofit existing machines under the Multivac product range.

· To carry out pre preventative maintenance at customer sites as per service contract requirements.

· Fault find in breakdown situations and manage the breakdown to a successful repair within a timely manner.

· To prepare reports of work for use within the company or for the customer e.g. service and audit reports.

· Promote ongoing service and maintenance visits.

· To actively engage with customers to promote service contracts, aftersales products across new/existing Multivac accounts.

· To liaise internally to identify opportunities for service contracts, consumables or machine installations within the field.

· Assisting the sales staff in equipment presentations and technical enquires when necessary

· Participate in technical training and attend update meetings as required to ensure skills are in date and appropriate.

· Complying with company and legislative requirements in regards to Occupational Health and Safety

· To carry out any special tasks as reasonably requested by the Service Manager

Requirements:

• A (Bachelor) degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or will have reached an equivalent level through experience on the job.

• 3+ years Field Service and experience of machinery

• Analytically strong with a capacity to solve problems

• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be a plus

• Willingness to travel within China and internationally intensively.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. 

• Good command in written and spoken Englishas well as Cantonese.
