As Electrical Supervisor you manage the electrical installation of the Baggage Handling System Project at the Hong Kong International Airport. You report to the Construction Manager. 

Main Task and Responsibilities

• Supervision of the electrical and control installation, carried out by our consortium partner
• Guide and train electrical installation teams
• Support the commissioning, testing and integration of the BHS system
• Managing the quality inspections for the installed equipment with focus on the electrical installation
• You ensure in close liaison with our engineers that the equipment is installed in accordance with the specification
• Support for the site handover and conduct surveys for installation areas
• Aware of our contract and responsibilities and identify deviations
• Reporting progress to the construction manager and planner
• Join progress meetings
• Responsible for the electrical and control installation progress on site and ensure to meet the program milestones
• Responsible for the site safety and quality of the installed electrical and control equipment
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly electrical and control installation reports

Required Qualifications

• Skilled and qualified electrician with Craftsman Certificate or above
• Priority in holding a valid electrician license Grade B or above
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design and installation
• Knowledge and understanding of the HK safety standards and electrical Code of Practices
• Experience in electrical and control installation of BHS or Material Handling System (MHS) projects including tray conveyors (ICS), belt conveyors, associated equipment and Early bag store systems (automated bag store).
• Good knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC hardware architecture
• Basic IT network knowledge is preferred
• Fluent in English, in addition Cantonese and or Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Awareness of the Asian culture.
• Basic proficiency in Navisworks and AutoCAD Knowledge of E-plan
• Proficiency in MS office applications
