#### Position Description:


We are looking for a manager for a newly created and growing team in Monterrey
as part of DCG’s development and test efforts. The team will be responsible
for validation of several new Lenovo ThinkSystem servers as part of a joint
effort across multiple sites globally.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leadership in a
development or validation environment.  Candidates should be familiar with
development lifecycles of technical products, preferably data center products.
Candidates must also have experience driving a team to meet product milestones
and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in hiring of new employees both regular and contract based
• Lead the local Product Assurance (PA) team to meet product milestones
• Ensure quality delivery of Lenovo ThinkSystem products
• Execution of managerial duties, key performance indicator setting, reviews,
ensuring needed skills are developed, cross training, etc.
• Collaborate with global development and PA teams, generally in US and Asia
• Develop new procedures to drive efficiency into the product assurance
process
• Analyze test results, test plans and defect data to identify trends possible
correlations of defects to systems, environment, code, etc.
• Advocate for develop-for-test requirements with development teams
• Gather and present status

#### Position Requirements:


Basic requirements:
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• 8+ years’ in the datacenter industry, 5+ years leading teams
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Understanding of server architecture and FW features
• Strong virtual team and cross-group coordination/collaboration experience
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities

Preferred skills
• Understanding of new server development and test cycles
• Technical program management experience
• Development or Assurance background for servers / data center products
• Experience developing validation processes for new features / HW
• Related technical skills – Server OS’s, Networking, Storage, Systems
Management, etc.
• Automation – developing or experience driving workloads to automation
