Overview of Role:

• Technical Account Manager (TAM) reports to the Head of Account Management.
• The TAM is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of accounts.
• The TAM is responsible for optimising client satisfaction
• Generating incremental business from existing client accounts and playing a major role in acquiring new client accounts.
• The TAM should lead the analysis phase of projects and is responsible for the analysis of the customers required deliverables including transforming these into relevant proposals and roadmaps.

 Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management: Become the ‘trusted partner’ of each client assigned to you by building strong, open working relationships.
• Client Drivers: For each account understand the client’s key goals and business drivers, thus enabling strategic debate with the client and delivery of solutions that best meet the business requirements.
• Preparation for Delivery - Ensure all project documentation, especially proposals and quotes, are well written and accurate; and signed off as both feasible and accurate by appropriate technical and design managers before being submitted to clients.
• Project Management – Manage budget and schedule, working closely with the technical teams on implementation; monitor project status
• Keep abreast of industry news, gather information on new technologies or opportunities and examine/prepare business cases if required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years working as an infrastructure consultant/ project manager/ technical account manager
• Excellent interpersonal and organsiational skills
• Good English is a must
• Good understanding of WAN and LAN technologies
• Good understanding of Microsoft and Cisco products
• Knowledge of Microsoft and 3rd Party Server Products (e.g. Exchange, SQL, VMWare, Citrix)
• Experience with IT setup for new office and IT budget /proposal preparation
• University graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines;
