Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will participate in all stages of software development life cycles and assist in designing and building robust web applications, effort estimation and documentation.
• He / She will also mentor junior team members on processing and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Grade D / Level 3 or above in English and Chinese in HKCEE or DSE or equivalent
• Expertise in web-based system development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful Web Services
• Strong ability in server-side technologies (e.g. ASP.NET C#, Java 8+, PHP, Node.JS, etc.)
• Strong ability in SQL development (Preferably MS SQL / PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Experience in the followings is an advantage:
• NET Core, IIS, Crystal Reports, NuGet
• Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Tomcat, JasperReports, Maven / Gradle
• jQuery / Bootstrap / Angular and Responsive Design
• Git, Docker, Jenkins
• Agile methodology
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will be considered for the position of Software Engineer I or Software Engineer II
