We have an opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison in CVRM.  

The Medical Science Liaison is a field based role, with the responsibility to implement the medical plan, supporting AZ’s products through scientific and therapeutic expertise. The MSL has deep content knowledge about specific disease states, available products, and investigational compounds, as well as detailed knowledge about research, regulatory and medical education environments, and related processes.

The MSL role is key to the facilitation of scientific exchange between AZ and the Scientific Expert community, with the opportunity to improve patient outcomes by providing needed information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.

This position reports to the Medical Lead CVRM.

The successful candidate profile should have:

  • Medical Doctor with specialty in Internal Medicine or Cardiology or Nephrology, or Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree or Ph.D. in health sciences is required
  • Experience in diabetes and/or heart failure and/or nephrology will be considered an asset
  • 3 Years relevant clinical or therapeutic experience will be considered an asset
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs will be preferred
  • Project management / cross-functional collaboration skills / execution
  • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
  • Availability to travel
  • Fluent in Greek and English
