The incumbents will take part in research and development of Robotics and AI enabling technologies for logistics & supply chain industry.  

Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the Centre and he/she is required to carry out basic/applied research of at least one of the following areas:

• Wearable robots/exoskeletons for warehouse, logistics and other applications;
• Robot vision and sensors e.g. Lidars, 3D depth cameras;
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) e.g. voice to text recognition;
• Robot motion control and simulation;
• FPGA and embedded Systems;
• Machine Learning – algorithm developments 

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• PhD in Robotics, AI/Machine Learning, and/or related engineering/science disciplines;
• at least 5 year’s relevant research and/or post-doctoral experience;  
• able to demonstrate research and technical competence in aforesaid R&D areas;
• able to carry out experiments/trials of proof of concepts (PoC) prototypes as well as preparing/drafting protocols for trials;
• able to prepare/draft research proposals and research articles to high-impact factor journals;  
• Candidate with less experience can be considered as “Researcher” or “Research Associate”.
