How will you make an impact?
This individual will have a team of supervisors, leads and manufacturing technicians who will have direct impact on the volume increase, resource requirements, and equipment management of the Genexus highly automated manufacturing cell.
What will you do?
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors, leads and manufacturing technicians who will be working on various shifts.
- Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Be available to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
- Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance requirements
- Has contact with all levels of company employees as well as frequent interaction with vendors
- Generates budgets and monitors key performance indicators
- Meet production, quality, financial, staffing, and EHS goals and objectives, including but not limited to productivity, cost reduction, backorder, inventory, training, CAPA closure rates, etc.
- Proactively interface with the team and internal customers to implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Directs and controls the activities of multiple projects and personnel
- Establish and monitor team objectives and priorities, and review staff performance in relation to these
- Manage problem resolution and deviations via Trackwise
- Review and close work orders in timely manner
- Review and draft standard operating procedures/manufacturing batch records
- Process design/development (as needed)
- Drives and implements opportunities for continuous improvement, using Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or technical environment performing production/operational functions.
- Experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
- 3+ years of being in a management or leadership role.
- Experience working on Six Sigma or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience working on new product development/projects/intiatives, involving working with cross functional teams.
- Able to work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Ability to interact with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, issues, and/or customers.
- Ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
- Experience with ERP systems.
