Assist with Engineering team with design, work cross functional with firmware and hardware
What will you do?
Design control systems, power supplies, and circuits
Education Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in engineering or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with limited experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Familiar with Power Supply circuit design and measurement
- Understanding of Control Theory, embedded firmware (C, C++, etc.), VHDL/Verilog
- Experience with Electronic test equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes).
Knowledge , Skills, Abilities
- Designing or modifying building blocks (Power Supplies, temperature circuits, mixed signals and Control Systems).
- Experience with schematic entry/capture software preferred using PADS Flow.
- Familiarity of high speed designs is a preferred
- Comfortable with one or more industry standard circuit or system simulators (e.g. PSpice, LTSPICE, etc.).
- Familiar with the Understanding of Control Theory, embedded firmware (C, C++, etc.), VHDL/Verilog
- Assisting manufacturing with production issues as required.
- Experience with complex system integration and/or troubleshooting.
- Ability to work within schedule constraints and both independently and in small groups
- Excellent communication and team skills.
