Purpose of the Job
The BM leads the development and implementation of the brand plan for an assigned area of responsibility, under the guidance of the Brand Leader. Develops ideas across the brand lifecycle to deliver value to patients, HCP’s and AZ. Ensures effective global and local cross-functional communication.
Typical Accountabilities
Develop and Implement Brand Plans collaborating with the cross functional teams and manage critical processes related to business & marketing plans
•Conduct marketing programs in a timely manner and track business performance regularly working with related functions to achieve the goal
•Drive market access strategy of brands in planned time.
•Define business opportunities through deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape
•Establish a brand building strategy to deliver the business goals
Functional Capabilities
Conducts analysis of information sources (about patients, the market, competitors, HCP’s, payers, and key external experts) to build market and patient understanding
•Applies understanding of branding positioning and brand expression/identity guidelines in the development of brand assets
•Conducts research and analysis to inform thinking about priority patents opportunities and strategic drivers
•Researches channel options (traditional and digital) and evaluates effectiveness/efficiency to reach defined target audiences
•Liaises with external agencies, providing the day-to-day point of contact for the development of marketing messages and activities for key audience groups
•Develops materials for the salesforce to support sales effort and educate sales representatives on company and competitors’ products
•Ensures marketing materials adhere to company standards and regulatory guidelines
•Monitors results and produces reports on performance and effectiveness versus targets for assigned areas of the brand experience plan
•Provides analysis to support sales forecasting
•Assists with the development of budgets and the monitoring of expenditures
•Spends time in the field to appreciate the perspective of key stakeholders
Essential Qualification
- B.A degree
- More than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry(including more than 5years of marketing experience)
- Strong drive for results
- Strategic Business planning and project management skill
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Project management skills & learning agility
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Strong self-disciplined under high pressure
- Time management with the sense of what the priorities are
- MS office skills (Word, PPT, Excel) proficiency
Desired skills or requirements
- Preferred major in pharmacy or marketing
- Fluent spoken and written English
