Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, you are expected to adopt a hands-on approach and to help build our financial accounting capabilities in step with the growth of the airline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and Companies Ordinance
• Prepare annual and periodic budgets and forecasts
• Assist in drafting financial accounting guidelines and manual
• Participate in selection of accounting system from sourcing and evaluation to user acceptance testing and implementation
• Liaise with external auditor for statutory audit
• Coordinate with different departments in relation to accounting and cost control
• Manage ad hoc projects, providing relevant analysis and expertise as required

Requirements

• Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance
• Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent professional body
• A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar position; experience gained in the airline industry a distinct advantage
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting principles
• Good command of both oral and written English and Cantonese
• Proficient with MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
• A team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent, self–motivated and able to work under pressure
