ABB's Robotics and Discrete Automation business is writing the future of flexible factory and smart machines by providing value-added solutions in robotics, machine and factory automation. Our integrated automation solutions, application expertise across a wide scope of industries and our global presence deliver tangible customer value.
You will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation in Consumer Segments and Service Robotics in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Taking initiative in following sales strategies and taking action in the continuous implementation of the defined strategy.
  • Being familiar with end users and system integrators in consumer segments, especially for food and beverage, keeps good knowledge and experience of automation in manufacturers.
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach. Ensuring achievement of agreed sales targets and margins with a structured follow up and reporting process.
  • Developing, maintaining and sharing detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, business drivers, economic trends, and competition.
  • Coordinating the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising, and marketing) to increase ABBs market awareness and influence customers at all levels.
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Strategic and value-based sales experience required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consumer segments experience and knowledge of integrated automation system.
  • Presentable and able to interface with customers at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with commercial focus and results orientation and being flexible, energetic and sociable team player.
  • Good knowledge of developing new accounts and executing in sales strategy.
