This is an R&D Engineer role, reporting to R&D Team Manager in Business Area Robotics and Discrete Automation.
Your responsibilities
- Serving as one of the key technical expert of mechatronics system design and production support.
- Doing robot controller encapsulation design, including sheet metal and cable harness.
- Supporting controller industrialization: design, sampling, testing and auto-assembly.
- Being part of robot controller engineering change process for product improvement.

Your background
- A BSc degree with 5+ years related working experience in Mechatronics (Mechanical and Electrical) or MSc. with equivalent background.
- Solid background in mechatronics system design, such as process control system electrical design, mechanical and cabling design of controller cabinet and so on.
- Familiarity with sheet metal material, process, surface treatment.
- Preferred to have experience in SolidWorks, Eplan and ERP system especially SAP.
- Sound knowledge on cooling/thermal design and EMC would be a plus.
- Must have interest to learn new technology, Open-minded, Creative, good organizational skills and can create and participate in cross-group process definition.
- Must possess effective communication and presentation skills.
- Must have good command of written & spoken English (Must be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team).
