What will you do?
Generate and analyze data from the company’s financial and production system and assist management in understanding and utilizing that information to make effective business decisions
Responsibilities:
- Prepare management reports on the results of the business.
- Perform analysis linking operational activities with their financial impact, and suggest to management ideas on related, actionable improvements.
- Support annual budget process.
- Support financial audits by providing information and explanations to auditors.
- Initiate communication and coordinate with other departments to improve the quality of financial information.
- Maintain written procedures relevant to major activities.
- Continuously improve finance team processes through use of visual management and Finance tier meeting
- Perform other duties as assigned.
How will you get here?
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field desired
- High school diploma/GED is required
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Experience with Hyperion
- Experience with data warehousing tools
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to drive process improvements
- Sense of urgency
- Curiosity and initiative to discover root cause
- Exceptional presentation skills to articulate results to key stakeholders
