Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide support to sales representatives and respond to customer and prospect queries
  • Maintain accurate and current records of contracts, quotations, proposals, opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads and actions
  • Manage customer relationships to cultivate customer loyalty and allegiance
  • Manage tendering websites for Singapore and Malaysia, including but not limited to GeBiz, SESAMI, E-Perolehan, hospital tendering websites and etc
  • To assist in all Sales Demo/Sample Requests and tracking for customer’s evaluation
  • To assist in all Tenders and Invitation to Quote and ePRS document filling and submission
  • Pricelist maintenance and updates for all customers
  • Review and identify gaps in trade, regulatory and legal compliance for business needs
  • Manage SOP forms for internal process including but not limited to legal, trade, regulatory, quality, finance, operations and customer service
  • Maintain accurate and current records of company profile, finance documents, product documents for tendering process
  • Manage stock and backorder enquiries, provides available solutions to customers
  • Effectively track activities, collecting customer information and developing opportunities in Salesforce.com
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, competitive activity, and other general information of interest to customers
  • Participate in training and development programs as a means of continuous improvement.
  • Cover vacant field territories at manager’s request.
  • Follow up with customers on marketing promotions & campaigns and on open quotation to close sales leads
  • Generates and processes new sales leads into quotation as necessary
  • Manage sales generated from e-commerce platform.
  • Coordinating internal colleagues and external customers by providing sales related questions and concerns
  • Participate in company initiatives when required
  • Answers phone calls from customers and provide sales related supports as they arise

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Life Science or Biotechnology
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in lab, sales, sales support or customer service in the science industry preferred
  • Good written and spoken English and Malay language are compulsory
  • Excellent communication skills required

  • Efficient time management skills with the ability to stay focused on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • To be able to work well with teams

  • Proficient with MS Office – Words & Excel skills a must
  • Must deliver excellent customer service
  • Be detail oriented and be accustomed to working on multiple tasks
  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
  • Ability to effectively interact with other disciplines within the Company such as marketing, sales, supply chain and customer service
