Responsibilities:

1. To provide the best possible teaching and learning processes for the students, and provide a good learning environment;

2. To improve students achievements and performance in the class as well as in extra curriculum activities;

3. To accustom students to western teaching style and improve their performance in relevant examinations;

4. To facilitate the attainment of each student’s full potential and develop non-academic as well as academic skills through the teaching of the subject;

5. To teach predominantly at IGCSE and AS and/or A2 level;

6. Effective classroom management and efficient organization of resources;

7. To work effectively as part of a teaching team and with other teachers based in the same school;

8. To work under the supervision of academic director of the international division of the school;

9. The teaching language is English.

Requirements:

1. A recognized education degree/diploma or other recognized teaching qualification;

2. Excellent command of English abilities, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, an English native speaker is preferred;

3. Experience in teaching post-16 students in A Level, IB or AP programs is preferred;

4. A track record of excellent teaching with well developed subject knowledge;

5. Experience of working with ESL students is a plus;

6. For non-education major, a master or doctorial degree is a plus.

7. Hard working, responsible, patient, energetic, humorous, and detail oriented;
