Job Overview
Primary tasks are to operate the yard truck and cardboard bailer. Supply core material to all external and in house customers in a safe and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Identify, receive, locate, count, pull core.
• Operate computers and scanners.
• Use cardboard bailer, hoist, small hand tools, computer, and pallet jack.
• Ability to identify numbers and retain to memory.
• Ability to properly package, label, and distribute to proper location.
• Ship core that is required to complete different processes throughout the plant or returned for core credit.
Responsibilities
• Willing to work 6:00 am -2:00 pm shift.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to cross train within the department.
• Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: Face shield, goggles, non-prescription safety glasses, and ear protection are provided. Must be willing to purchase safety toe shoes.
• Mechanically inclined.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Attached resume required.
