The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound freight, internal inventory movements and count/dollar inventory accuracy. Duties & Responsibilities: Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control. Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement. Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts, reconcile discrepancies and resolving cost of goods issue movements Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures. Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics Qualifications & Skills: - Strong communication, interpersonal skill, leadership, and conflict resolution - Strong knowledge of warehousing practices and methods - Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving - Experience leading a collective bargaining team preferred - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software - Able to operate forklift and cherry picker equipment Education and/or Experience: - 3+ years management experience in Warehousing (preferred manuafcturing environment) - Proven track record of managing at least 10 warehouse employees - Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting - Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Business or related field (preferred) Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
