Huainan Aston English School is a small school in Anhui province. We are a franchise brand looking to expand and develop ourselves within Huainan.
I’m Adam, one of the foreign teachers currently working here with my fiancé. 3 years ago we had the opportunity to purchase shares in Huainan Aston, and have developed it into the successful school it is today. Now (after 9 years in China) I and my fiancé are looking to settle down back in the UK and start a family, as a result we have handed over our school to a bright new management team and looking for 2 new enthusiastic teachers to replace us.
We hope to find 2 professional and open minded individuals to take over our classes here ASAP. Unlike other schools where you will perhaps have to deal with Chinese foreign liaison officers who (more than often) don’t know how to deal/communicate proffesionally with foreigners; newly recruited teachers will have to pleasure of being introduced to a new life here by me. I will be undertaking your training and making sure you get the best possible start here in Huainan, with guidance that only a well travelled foreigner can give.

What we are offering:
- A Full time position
- Minimum guarantee: 7000 RMB a month
- Basic working hours: 20 Hours a week + 3 office hours a week.
- Housing Allowance: 1,000 RMB per month
- 3 days off per week
- At least 4 hours of Chinese lessons per week
- Flight allowance of 7000 RMB to be paid at the end of contract
- 2 week paid holiday
- Full Work Visa provided
- Airport pick up (If applicant can arrive Monday – Thursday)
- Full teacher training
- Basic Insurance
- Performance bonuses

Job responsibilities
- Writing lesson plans
- Communicating with Chinese teachers about forthcoming lessons
- Maintaining a high standard of lessons
- Teaching 3 – 16 year olds a pre-set curriculum
- Assisting in promotions and activities run by the school
- Being part and working with a management team which is looking to expand, seek to better themselves and the school.
- Help sign up new students to the school

Qualifications
- A genuine interest in children, teaching, and professional development
- Someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and likes to have fun
- Be open-minded, have an adventurous spirit, and professional flexibility
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Native English speaker
- Passport issued by the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand
- Two years teaching experience is preferred but not essential
- Internationally recognized TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certification preferred but not essential
- Experience traveling internationally and/or working abroad preferred but not essential
