The General Motors China is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for potential future opportunities as Assistant Software Development Engineer. In anticipation of these opportunities becoming available, if you are interested in learning more about GM, completing this profile will allow us to stay connected.

The position

This team will ultimately be responsible for developing, and testing GM’s infotainment software platform. We are looking for a graduate student as Summer intern with a solid knowledge in developing Android based software who are interested in applying their experience to delivering high quality software for future automotive Infotainment systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with team to building Android based infotainment solutions for automotive consumer devices.

• Follow our software development process where quality comes first and ensure that the designed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security.

• Collaborate with team members in software development activities using the Scrum/Agile development process.

任职条件

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline;

• Well Computer Science fundamentals and problem solving skills

• Good communication skill in English and Chinese, interpersonal skill

• Considerable programming experience in Java and C/C++

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical documentation skills
• In-depth knowledge on Android runtime, Java/native heap management and binder communications
