Dell’s Engineering team in Taipei is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop systems, equipment and packaging.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • The Mechanical Engineer drives the innovative mechanical design solutions for Notebook & Desktop systems.
    • Designs, analyzes, documents and functionally validates mechanical components and assemblies
    • Conducts and participates in engineering tests to validate the robustness and proper performance of new products
    • Interfaces w/suppliers, electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, tooling engineering and other development groups to ensure the successful development and launch of new products
    • Utilizes best-in-class tools to develop innovative solutions to highly complex problems
    • Is responsible for the mechanical detail design on assigned components
    • Is responsible for testing, analysis and debug on assigned mechanical prototypes
    • Contributes to the successful management and development of mechanical tooling and first samples delivery
    • Ensures that comprehensive qualification and subsequent tool revisions are completed
    • Ensures deliverable are met per program schedules.
• Requirements: Degree or equivalent in Master of Mechanical Engineering.
• Desired Skills:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Familiar with Creo Parametric.
