Program overview:
Honeywell China Development Engineering Program is an intensive two-year on-job development program for fresh university graduates who have a passion for technology and shared core values with Honeywell. The program, consisting of three rotational assignments in fields of Engineering and Technology (E&T), Commercial Functions and Integrated Supply Chain/Factory, is designed to advance young talents’ technical knowledge, develop fundamental leadership skills and help determine the long-term career path with Honeywell.
The program, with assignments driven by Honeywell business priorities, will help the trainees quickly immerse to the business environment and earn valuable industry experience along with the rapid growth of Honeywell as the diverse high-tech industrial leader globally.

Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) is the engineering, technology research and development arm of Honeywell, a Fortune 500 company that delivers hi-tech solutions ranging from aerospace; control technologies for buildings and industry; and performance materials; and as well as internet of things. At Honeywell, we are bringing together the physical and digital worlds to tackle some of the toughest business and societal challenges in China by leveraging leading capabilities in the field of data analytics, cloud computing and internet of things. In China, Honeywell has been growing through innovation, implementing the strategies of “East for East” and “East to Rest”. HTS China has close to 1000 employees across its centers in Shanghai, Beijing, Luoyang, Suzhou, Zhangjiagang, Changsha and Xi’an.

The Aerospace Engineering & Technologies (E&T) team in HTS China is also an integral part of Honeywell Aerospace’s global E&T team. As one of the largest world-class aerospace engineering teams of multi-national companies in China, we have around 400 engineers and scientists that develop the state-of-the-art and differentiated Aerospace technologies and products in mechanical and avionics domains. With facilities in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Changsha respectively, our team provide world-class engineering and R&D capabilities to drive Honeywell Aerospace growth including working with leading organizations like COMAC, AVIC, CETC and CAAC to support the rapid growth of the Chinese commercial aerospace industry. Our local engineering team also supports key global programs for Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Embraer, and Gulfstream

Responsibility:

Engage in the avionics and aircraft system (Flight control, Integrated Avionics, Radio, Surveillance, Communication, Navigation, etc…) simulation Test Bench and Station project for global and local programs.
End item test (EIT) for avionic products. Work on EIT solution HW and SW design, development, Verification, Validation and debug support on factory site.
Supports the development for data acquisition software, qualification and certification of specific tests as defined in DO-160 and other relevant customer test requirements documents.
Engage in the Inertial Measurement Unit project development and test activities.
Compliance with Engineering Standard design practices including Tools, Processes, and Documentation. Support the process standardization and improvement.
Provide translation services and technical support on test Solution/test bench to Honeywell customer and partner in China.
Travel and work on-site in other country (Malaysia, US , etc.…) to involve in global programs.

Qualification:

Primary Qualifications:

Masters’ degree in electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, Aerospace Engineering, Navigation or equivalent.

Electrical and Electronics knowledge (Analog & Digital, ability to read & understand schematics, wire lists).
Experienced in test software development on C, C++, CVI/Labwindows, Labview, python, Test Stand.
Experienced in electronic development, electronic test, test solution, embedded software design and verification or related.
Experienced in integrated computer network system integration and have test bench design and operation knowledge.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Strong oral and written communication skills both in Mandarin and English
Aviation product design or testing experience is highly preferred.
Inertial measurement unit or Attitude head reference unit related algorithm development experience is highly preferred.
Experienced in communication protocols (ARINC429, CAN, RS232 and RS485), Analog I/O, Discrete I/O and power solution, etc.
Software knowledge on embedded Linux OS is preferred.
Good customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel is preferred
Experience work with international team and can take oversea short-term on-site work
