The Aerospace Engineering & Technologies (E&T) team in HTS China is also an integral part of Honeywell Aerospace’s global E&T team. As one of the largest world-class aerospace engineering teams of multi-national companies in China, we have around 400 engineers and scientists that develop the state-of-the-art and differentiated Aerospace technologies and products in mechanical and avionics domains. With facilities in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Changsha respectively, our team provide world-class engineering and R&D capabilities to drive Honeywell Aerospace growth including working with leading organizations like COMAC, AVIC, CETC and CAAC to support the rapid growth of the Chinese commercial aerospace industry. Our local engineering team also supports key global programs for Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Embraer, and Gulfstream

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Aircraft ECS Control system development includes
o developing Real Time plant model,
o developing controls and diagnostics for thermal mechanical system per assigned project scope,
o specifying and integrating rapid prototype systems for control system design,
o developing requirements specifications for implementation, etc.
- Aircraft ECS control system verification includes test procedure creation, test case development / debugging, and test report writing
- Perform system integration testing and result analysis
- Participate in the improvement of Honeywell's Mechanical Control Systems Engineering processes
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Systems, Process or Control Engineering
- Strong background and solid knowledge in classic and modern control theories
- Experience in software and hardware integration test, hardware-in-the-loop test planning and execution
- Hands-on Matlab/Simulink experience
- Good communication skill in Chinese and English
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Able to conduct meetings outside regular working hours with global team members
- Frequent travel to North America for program support
- Good MS office skills (like VBA macro in Excel)
- Knowledge of programing/script languages (like C, Python, Perl)
WE ALSO LOOK FOR
- Engineering experience in Aerospace Industry is preferred
- Hands-on experience on requirement management tools (like DOORS) is highly desirable
- Education with special focus on systems engineering and simulation / controls for aerospace applications is preferred
- Model based development experience is a plus
- Knowledge in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics/Dynamics, Turbomachinery, Gas Turbine and Heat Exchange is a strong plus
