Support Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation (product) by designing, testing and validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex software engineering problems

YOU MUST HAVE
Participating in new product development, including requirement analysis, engineering spec draft, design & implementation, engineering verification and final delivery
Drive effective IoT platform insertion activities through collaboration with NPI teams, identifying competitive activity, and uncovering customer needs which results in accelerating the generation of new business revenue in the defined region.
Be responsible for creating specifications of IoT gateway and edge platform development kits, assessing the feasibility of proposed solutions, and capturing technical inputs needed for cost estimation.
Work with product management and software architects to understand critical platform features, use cases, capacity and performance requirements. Ensure that designs are created to meet and exceed those requirements.
Assist team with creation of technology roadmaps.
Utilize process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma tools/processes.

Deep understanding of embedded system design especially for firmware architect
Deep understanding of regular serial interface like IIC, UART, SPI, RS485 and its communication protocol design
Good knowledge on RTOS or Linux. Solid understanding/experience on application development including TCP/IP, IPC, Multi-tasking, memory management; Deep understanding of network protocol stack and its application
Strong experience of project planning and leading team to achieve the target
Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
Fluent communication skills in English
