Program overview:
Honeywell China Development Engineering Program is an intensive two-year on-job development program for fresh university graduates who have a passion for technology and shared core values with Honeywell. The program, consisting of three rotational assignments in fields of Engineering and Technology (E&T), Commercial Functions and Integrated Supply Chain/Factory, is designed to advance young talents’ technical knowledge, develop fundamental leadership skills and help determine the long-term career path with Honeywell.
The program, with assignments driven by Honeywell business priorities, will help the trainees quickly immerse to the business environment and earn valuable industry experience along with the rapid growth of Honeywell as the diverse high-tech industrial leader globally.

The Aerospace Engineering & Technologies (E&T) team in HTS China is also an integral part of Honeywell Aerospace’s global E&T team. As one of the largest world-class aerospace engineering teams of multi-national companies in China, we have around 400 engineers and scientists that develop the state-of-the-art and differentiated Aerospace technologies and products in mechanical and avionics domains. With facilities in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Changsha respectively, our team provide world-class engineering and R&D capabilities to drive Honeywell Aerospace growth including working with leading organizations like COMAC, AVIC, CETC and CAAC to support the rapid growth of the Chinese commercial aerospace industry. Our local engineering team also supports key global programs for Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Embraer, and Gulfstream

Description:
HTS China Aero is looking for a User Experience Designer, to deliver an end-to-end user experience across every user touch point for Aero business, and use well established human-centered design principles to ensure that Honeywell products and applications are the most useful, usable and desirable products in the marketplace. This role will support user experience design for products globally and local initiatives, and contribute directly to creating the next generation of user experiences on a wide variety of consumer, commercial and industrial products. This role will work with our portfolio of brands to create branded seamless experience across user touch points, and will collaborate with other experience designers in an interdisciplinary studio that applies best practices to achieve world-class results.

Responsibilities:
Leading and executing a clear, consistent voice on end-to-end user experience design on major Aero projects and services, working with other HUE design leads across the Aero businesses and with our network of external design partners
Conducting user research activities such as customer journey, touch point analysis, observational studies etc.
Contributing to best practices for user experience design throughout the product development process
Delivering the best in class user-centered design result through interaction design, visual design and fast prototyping
Applying expert knowledge of User Experience discipline and Honeywell/Industry standards, processes and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance of various projects.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree (preferred) with a background in User Experience design / Industrial design / Visual communication design / Human Factors, or an equivalent combination of education
Good written and oral English
Strong portfolio of applying user-centered design practices in product development
Practical experience in combination with user experience studies, user centered design, human factors research is a significant plus
Demonstrable multiple user experience design skills e.g., customer journey map, experience diagramming, task analysis, workflow design, wireframing, visual design, low to high-fidelity prototyping etc.
Fluency with design and prototyping tools, e.g., Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Visio etc.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to work in team environments
