US Market Access Program Internship As a US Market Access Intern, you’ll participate in a program supporting our US Market Access businesses. You’ll join a team where you will do meaningful work that has a real impact on our Commercial business and patients. You will also combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem solving. Background All patients obtain their healthcare treatments through one of the public or private pay entities within our healthcare system, e.g. Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, Federal, Kaiser, and other customers. While each of these customer entities is unique and service different patient types, our sales and marketing teams work with them to ensure that patients can access AbbVie medications affordably and easily. The key objective of this internship opportunity is to dive deep into our products and customers to develop tactical or strategic support for our marketing and sales teams. This could include work in trade and distribution, market access marketing for a specific product and/or within one of the specific customer channels listed above. Key Deliverables: Support and coordinate with multiple Brand and Market Access stakeholders KPI tracking of the Eye Care portfolio access and policies across medical and pharmacy benefit designs Ensure alignment to expectations for medical policies and coordinate action plan for challenges Deliver regular updates on KPI progress to Brand and Market Access leadership This role will be located in Irvine, California Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Masters, MHA, MBA or PharmD program preferably with an emphasis on marketing, healthcare or general management and graduating between August 2022 - July 2023. Must have at least two years prior work experience. Healthcare industry experience and demonstrated understanding of health policy impact is preferred.
