Purpose of the Position:
Under general supervision, this position receives processes and maintains an overview of the expedited shipment orders (EX33) to the manufacturing plants in Russia and Asia for materials that are shipped incorrectly, damaged, or missing from the initial CKD (Complete Knock Down) kit(s) and/or SKD (Semi Knock Down) kit(s).

 
Essential Functions:  (List all basic responsibilities related to the purpose of the position)
 
Maintains overview of orders and associated claim information from Germany to ensure that each order is documented correctly in the system and its cost can be allocated correctly.
 
Monitors daily incoming expedited shipment orders (EX33) of GL-Class vehicles in a CKD / SKD kit to the manufacturing plants in Russia and Asia.
 
Validates expedited shipments order sheet for completeness, and retrieves pricing information for parts in order to finalize EX33 order sheet.
 
Sends order sheet to the service provider, and monitors processing status. Escalates any delayed orders to respective management.
 
Receives invoicing documents from service provider(s), and sends to the International Production Support (IPB) for further processing. Works with airfreighting company to ensure orders shipped in a timely manner.
 
Support to further stabilize the expedited shipment order process and assist in finding and implementing solutions for potential process weaknesses.
 
Participates in regular meetings to review the order progress and draw conclusions for process improvements.
 
Reports daily order status, and reviews trend in relation to prior month's data.
 
Reviews order classifications, and confirms with classifications with Quality to ensure associated costs are assigned to the correct responsible party.
 

Enters EX33 order related chargebacks into MBUSI chargeback database on a regular basis to ensure Mercedes Benz US International SC/SCSPS can maintain its budget.
Works closely with Quality to support in the claims processing that are associated with an EX 33 order.
