Job Description
Job Summary Plan, manage and drive the Enterprise Services (ES) business in Japan including leading the team of Enterprise Services professionals. The role holder will be fundamental in defining and executing a local strategy to further position Siemens Healthineers as the key solution provider for Enterprise Services within the Japanese market. This will be evidenced through orders, sales and market share, plus operational fulfillment in a manner that meets budget and delivers high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a highly empowered role, and the scope extends to full commercial “Profit & Loss” responsibility. The role includes management of ES Business Development Team and supporting the Country Services Lead’s management of the ES Operations Team. Global cooperation within the Siemens Healthineers organization is key for success.Responsibilities Responsibility to increase market share, orders, sales and development of Contribution Margin pertaining to the Enterprise Services business within Japan. This should be realised through a mix of demand generation, increased win rate, development of existing customer business (including Contract Variation / Change Control), and the generation of new “value add” business models offering comprehensive solutions to our customers. Ensure that operational delivery meets or exceeds financial forecasts and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage and develop direct reports by effectively coaching them Develop and maintain excellent direct relationships with key customers. Together with the Sales Managers, to engage with Public as well as Private Sector customers to identify and pursue business opportunities Ensure delivery of winning tender responses and business proposals to a high quality and to the prospect/customer’s schedule Devise and deliver winning customer presentations and solution concepts and demonstrations Engage in sales negotiations, and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers Construct, negotiate and manage the fulfillment of annual Enterprise Solutions budgets. This includes reviewing the business forecast on a monthly basis and driving the funnel according to yearly budgets Make necessary organization changes, personnel reshuffles and performance management in both pre and post sales phase Representation and speaking at congresses and other customer events. Maintain bi-directional communications with internal sales and Business Area/Line development organizations to optimise the sales and product portfolio and processes, e.g. feedback of customer requirements, etc. Manage within a matrix organization, stakeholder management in an international corporate environment Essential Skills & Experience High level of technical understanding & experience in Solutions Business in the Healthcare/Pharma sector High level of awareness of Japanese medical devices market Minimum 8 to 12 years of successful experience in a directly related field 5+ years experience of Sales and/or people management Strategic, lateral and innovative thinking Ability to manage complex projects Ability to competently plan and organise in order to achieve short and longer-term objectives. Effective written and verbal communication skills (Japanese, English) Well developed Interpersonal skills Potential to successfully manage a team of people Well developed selling and negotiating skills Confidence to present to large groups Ability to work in complex organizationsDesirable Skills and Experience Native/Business level of Japanese Advanced level of English (above TOEIC score850) Strong experience in the Healthcare sector Relevant radiography/cardiology/oncology/OR experience Sales and people management experience Strong communicator and teamplayer Strategic direction Expertise in Siemens products desirable but not compulsory Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare K.K.
