Job overview Under general supervision, provide support for internal customers in the implementation or enhancement of IT solutions for business processes and to serve as plant liaison for Centers of Competence for Daimler applications used at our location.   Duties and responsibilities Business Relationship Management:
• Support and advise the internal customer while forming an effective interface between the business department and IT,
• Define the value and business benefits of services from the service catalogue. Identify opportunities for business process improvements based on the IT service catalogue and promote IT services and value. 
• Offer recommendations and solutions that meet the business needs as appropriate.
• Ensure that all demands are coordinated through the request management process working closely with the respective IT organization (e.g. Business Consultant, Service Delivery, Project Manager) to define the high-level design and estimation and tracking the status of the request.
• Serve as facilitator between Business and IT working networked (cross-divisional), identifying and utilizing synergies across IT Organization.
Demand (Request) Management:
• Accompany and support business requirement specification process when requested.
• Ensure that all requests for IT services are recorded in the demand pipeline and reviewed fairly by upholding corporate processes.
• Conduct research, data collection, analysis and synthesis to prepare, present and deliver recommendations and solutions to business
• Contribute to the development of a solution design that meets business requirements
• Participate in the delivery and implementation of solutions for Business units. • Follow given range of business consulting methodologies, assets and work products to produce deliverables
• Provide leadership on the development of business cases, service strategy, new service deployment and Service Lifecycle management schedules.
Solution Design:
•Analyze, describe and design applications and business processes in order to meet current and future MBUSI and Daimler business requirements.
•Work with business departments, local and global applications teams to analyze and optimize business processes, as well as identify weaknesses in the existing systems, processes and procedures and provide solutions in line with regional and global ITM standards•Ensure that documentation relating to business processes and supporting software is accurate and complete and maintained on central MBUSI IT document management system.
•Coordinate with CoC and local application teams enhancements and bug fixes regarding the configuration and validation of applications.
Testing, Training, and Rollout Coordination -
• Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy testing techniques for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
• Create and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal process/system performance according to specifications.
• Coordinate and/or conduct all types of application testing as needed, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
• Analyze formal test results in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Coordinate all integration-testing with end users
• Develop expertise in the given application to support the project goals and objectives. 
• Coordinate and participate in development of structured walk-throughs (system demonstrations and training) to the users.• Coordinate the development and facilitation of training material for end users and technical support
• Create application documentation in applicable systems and work instructions for operational sustainability. 
Project Management
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
• Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify and mitigate potential risks/crises, and devise contingency plans. Perform other duties as required.

(Note: Engineering and/or IT MUST require technical degrees) This position requires a Bachelor's degree in (Choose all the apply): Information Technology Supply Chain/Operations Management Computer Engineering/Computer Science Industrial Engineering Or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Experience  Co-Op/ internship and/ or up to 2 years' professional experience in the following area(s): IT function  Required skills
