Job Overview


Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Mill and Lathe Operator.  The open position is for 2nd  shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm).  The successful candidates will be required to set up and operate CNC machinery that automatically mills, punches, and drills metal parts. Primary tasks performed include operating VF11 machine, machining HDEP blocks, operating other CNC Machines as needed, and CMM. CNC Certificate preferred. CNC certificate must be obtained within 6 months of acceptance if not currently holding a certification. 


Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of CNC machinery
- Load and unload parts into CNC machinery
- Operate to make parts to specifications and rate
- Set-up and read gauges
- Use of surface tester & computer
- Set-up and touch-off
- Ability to understand machine codes
