Responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts
Coordinate and maintain relationships with clients
Manage new leads and follow up with potential clients
Manage online business enquiries
Identifying and approaching potential partners to broaden sales channels and increase lead generation
Manage the “leads” database and updating meeting schedule
Assist in the implementation of new CRM system including managing marketing databases and contacts and using new functions to improve efficiency of lead management
Attend business and networking events and obtain new leads
Speak at business seminars on China marketing topics
Conducting online research and market planning
Assist with online marketing campaigns
Carrying out analysis and reporting
Improving internal workflow processes
Routine administration and HR duties including managing marketing material, contracts, and payments, as well as the recruitment of local staff and interns
Skills & Requirements
3-5 years of relevant working experience in business development
Strong experience in online-marketing / digital media
Digital or Integrated communications/marketing experience and good understanding of social media in China
Background in PR & communications, advertising and marketing
Previous experience in the travel industry will be a big bonus
Strong interest in social media & communications, and a “can-do” attitude
Detail oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently under deadline
Ability to self-prioritize work streams and ability to meet tight deadlines
Online marketing background in SEO, SEM, CPC and/or CPA based activities will also be an advantage
Skillful in data collection and analysis
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Powerpoint, Adobe design; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong understanding of China business environment
Fluent in English
Good grasp of Chinese language
