The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join a strong, focused and well-established marketing team. This role is responsible for campaign creation, production and delivery into the corporate market. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the corporate translation market enabling the creation of engaging content to encourage our customers and prospects to purchase SDL’s market-leading Trados translation solutions.

Key tasks include the management of the email schedule, drafting and creation of campaign emails with a marketing automation tool, use of our CRM system to capture campaign responses, use of an internal translation management system, and alignment of all marketing content with campaign messaging.  A focus of the role is to report on campaign effectiveness and to actively experiment to improve customer and prospect interaction with our campaigns. With support from the EMEA Marketing Manager and internal Digital Marketing team, you will drive campaigns and create content for landing pages, setup and host webinars and ensure all new content is in line with visual identity, tone and brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will be passionate about all aspects of marketing including copy writing, driving continuous improvement and reporting against KPIs.  Good hands-on HTML and Photoshop experience is preferable, as well as an analytical approach and experience of working in a busy, multi-product environment.
Experience of working to tight deadlines, under pressure and with a strong attention to detail is a pre-requisite for this role.  Previous experience of marketing for software or professional services companies is advantageous. 

Responsibilities:
* To be responsible for the day to day delivery of marketing campaigns to our existing customer and prospect database, working closely with an internal Digital Marketing team
* To be an active part of the team devising campaign ideas, writing copy (including campaign, promotional and communication emails) and proof reading for accuracy.
* To setup and host webinars to support campaigns.
* To work with the internal Creative team on the development of new collateral to support campaigns
* To build solid relationships with the Corporate Sales Team and other stakeholders
* To be responsible for the Trados-related pages on sdl.com.

Essential attributes
* Demonstrable marketing experience
* Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills
* Proven digital/direct marketing campaign management and execution
* Demonstrable ROI in past marketing activity
* Experience of using content management systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Affinity to the use of a variety of IT systems for marketing campaigns development and delivery
* Language skills not essential but definite asset
* Attention to detail and ability to manage simultaneous projects is critical
