Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• 4-7 years’ experience as a software engineer or equivalent
• Strong competence with Microsoft technologies and tools including C#, Visual Studio and source control systems like TFS or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL query languages with experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
• General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level. General skills in research, project planning and implementation.
• General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• The Software Engineer would contribute to moderately complex product features and projects by:
  • Participating designs by defining and interpreting feature requests, documenting those requests in functional specifications, and designing specific product and features for stability, usability, and maintainability. 
  • Implement the software products based on designs by using the latest development tools. In particular, implementations must be stable and maintainable.
  • Developing unit/integration tests as well as providing additional guidance and support to the certification group to ensure complete testing.
  • Support and maintain the existing code base by providing assistance to the support group.
• Work is independent and collaborative in nature, the Software Engineer will provide regular updates to a manager on project status.
• Able to assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job.
