Job Description
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides input to the business agenda. Implements people strategy based on country-specifics and respective business priorities.
- Be familiar with the key Bayer and Philippines HR processes and functions, implements agreed HR directives, policies and programs to strive for best practices in the harmonization and alignment of local HR activities, with the business requirements in mind.
- Enables leaders to develop their talents. Executes local talent management initiatives to attract, identify, develop and retain talents.
- Defines the recruiting needs with Business Leaders and local TA team. Helps leaders define profiles of ideal candidates and is available for interviewing for special critical roles. Partners with the business to identify critical roles and build an external talent pipeline.
- Advises, coaches and challenges business leaders on general organization & people related topics.
- Proactively works with the global and region HR BPs and ensure continuous communication and sharing of information on all important HR topics with them, notably aspects of local regulations.
- Manages labor law/litigation in close collaboration with the HR Country Lead and LPC ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable laws and Bayer rules.
- Supports organizational changes (restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestments) providing appropriate solutions to the business from the HR perspective.
- Contributes to HR employer branding thus ensuring that Bayer will be an employer of choice in the Philippines.
- Supports any country HR initiatives as appropriate Value added to success of company; Acts as a strategic partner, coach, change agent and employee advocate to provide support on all Human Resource initiatives to business divisions. Through an understanding of the business and engagement with the business leaders, translate business requirements and challenges into relevant HR actions and initiatives.
WHO YOU ARE :
- Preferably a university degree our equivalent, with a focus on Business or Human Resources
- Highly proficient in English language both in the spoken and written form Skills/experiences
- Knowledge about the local legal employment conditions
- Experience and proven track record in working across the core HR functions with specific experience in one expert HR field.
- Ability to collaborate in the Bayer HR business model
- Professional leadership experience.
- Knowledge of the Bayer Group organization and processes.
- Role model for the Bayer LIFE Values, Leadership, Integrity, Flexibility and Efficiency.
- Team-oriented leadership skills honed through experience with senior management.
- Communications strategy and messaging skills with the ability to build long term partnerships with internal management & staff, including external stakeholders.
- Experienced in multidisciplinary project and corresponding change management.
- Capability to work in a multicultural environment an advantage
- Good understanding of financial impacts derived from HR decisions and policies.
- General business acumen.
- Strong networker, especially within the HR function, with the ability to share and interact with the regional and global HR BPs.
