Ready to join our exciting and fast-paced European E-commerce Team? In order to secure future growth, we are currently undergoing a major transformation, leading to the creation of an International Key Account (IKA) Business Unit. We are now building our future Supply Chain Team and are looking for a motivated Logistics Specialist who can thrive in a newly established environment and will contribute to the creation and implementation of new processes and tools. The successful candidate will report to the IKA Supply Chain Manager.

 

What are we looking for?

• Ideally, you will have a relevant qualification such as a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration, APICS-CPIM, MCIPS, etc.
• Demonstrable experience in Logistics, specifically in transporting goods. Preferably your experience would be from the FMCG sector, although we would be happy to consider suitable candidates from other sectors.
• Relevant systems knowledge (ideally ERP systems such as Navision, 1NAV, or Microsoft Dynamics, but similar systems experience will also be suitable)
• The ability to build strong working relationships with internal colleagues as well as external service providers.

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Build and execute a robust Supply Plan to guarantee the right supply of goods from our factories to the customer’s warehouses.
• Ensure that our Logistics Service Providers are meeting necessary quality standards, work with them to resolve logistics issues when necessary.
• Build strong working relationships with the 3PLs to drive improvements in their service, flexibility and optimize their costs.
• Drive our Supply Chain strategy for the IKA business unit to deliver lean and sustainable logistics operations through optimising logistics costs and continuously improving service.
