RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Activities may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assisting in the preparation of global product and strategy development plans, which clearly establish product positioning versus competitive products, product development direction, product service programs, pricing guidelines, and profitability targets. Identify, define, select and prioritize market opportunities in close co-operation with regional segment leader.

  • Develop market knowledge to understand trends and opportunities in product technology. Generate and maintain analysis of the market with a focus on market trends, market size, competitive solutions and positioning, market share and customer needs for the product portfolio.

  • Support and/or lead new product development and technical service efforts. Oversee the completion of all marketing deliverables, including pricing, analysis and documentation and drives the project through the NPI process in coordination with R&D.

  • Initiate and manage communication and promotion campaigns (i.e. product/segments literature, trade shows, brochures, PR in magazines, internal/external newsletters, sales actions, swatches, etc.) 

  • Drive product launches with communication and training. Ensure that new products are introduced professionally, with appropriate positioning, pricing, sales materials, promotions and accompanying services, structured through the Product Launch Toolkit. 

  • Establish and maintain in close co-operation with the Regional Segment leaders and Global Product Manager a successful long term product strategy to achieve required sales value and margins along with the objectives (manage product life cycle).

  • Monitor product profitability and take pro-active actions. Initiate and implement cost savings activities, in co-operation with R&D, Purchasing and Operations. 

  • Measure and communicate results of (new) product sales. Initiate and execute product pruning projects and complexity reduction programs. 

  • Set up and maintain service guidelines. Manage products with respect to forecast, packaging, range, logistic requirements, etc. 

  • Manage all the product commercialization process.

职位要求

  • Bachelor degree or above in chemistry, material science related industrial

  • Minimal 5 years’ experience in project management or marketing role in the industrial, adhesive/tape background is a plus

  • Marketing or project management experience and skills preferred, NPI experience is a plus

  • Strong business acumen, attention to details, and analytical skills

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Self-motivated and results driven. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deal with ambiguity

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English
