This is a Product Manager role reporting to the Product Marketing Manager in the Business Area – Motion located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Driving the growth and continuous improvement of profitability of e-mobility product line, in close collaboration with global Product management and local organization.
- Supporting actively the local and global tender activity together with Local and Global Sales organization, and other ABB related new energy vehicle components or system players.
- Visiting customers to correctly know the customer’s needs and requirements on the Electrical Vehicle (EV) motor products and understand the application of driveline systems of off-highway segment and support in promoting ABB solutions.
- Working with R&D and global product management to continuously optimize the product portfolio to maintain and improve the product competitiveness in the e-mobility market.
- Formulating and executing the pricing strategy and go to market strategy for the Chinese market. Participating in global go to market strategy development. Training and supporting the Local sale team for order pursuits and pushing for sales growth.
- Being responsible for the new product launch and local marketing promotion initiatives, working with SCM and Operation to continuously drive for the cost excellence and deliver superior customer experiences. Timely collecting and identifying the related business impact factors from industry segment, global & local policies and key e-mobility events and take proactive actions when needed.
- Assuring that local processes are in-line with market requirements and global ABB processes for e-mobility segment.

Your background
- Must have bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum seven years of experience from vehicle industry, Product manager experience in MNC will be preferred.
- Must have people skills as well as leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, written and spoken.
- Must have strong business sense and be ambitious.
