Person Specification:

Working within the Global Data Services and Reporting Team based in our newly created Global Human Resources (HR) Centre, the Reporting Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining Global HR Reports produced from the various HR applications, primarily Workday, Saba and other systems. There will be a focus on the creation and maintenance of a self-service report catalogue and also on the delivery of on request, value-add, analytical data to the business to help drive corporate decisions.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain a catalogue of reports in Workday, Saba and other applications, ensuring that reports comply with data security and change control requirements.

  • Design and develop HR reports based on ad hoc requests from the business while meeting established Service Level Agreements and following internal procedures on quality, data security and timelines.

  • Collaborate with Information technology team on requests that have dependencies on technical system support such as system security or configuration.

  • Where required, prepare materials to be presented to the Change Control Board.

  • Validate with the end-user that the report fulfils customer requirements and is aligned to standard reporting practices. The focus will be on delivering valuable HR data to the business with a concerted effort on simplification and efficiency.

  • Work with the Senior Analyst and team lead to recommend standard management information processes, practices and procedures with a focus on self-service and standardisation.

  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or combine redundant and not fit for purpose reports.

  • Support the maintenance, development and delivery of training materials for management information processes and dashboards.

  • Provide reporting subject matter expertise to project initiatives and provide required reporting inputs to recurring HR initiatives including annual rewarding performance process.

  • Support continuous improvement by identifying both functional and technical opportunities to enhance the reporting offering. Ensuring these are delivered to agreed deadlines

Candidate Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience of Reporting design, development, deployment and support for HRIS systems, ideally in Workday with experience in the creation of calculated fields and utilisation of Advanced and Matrix report types.

  • Experience of Saba or other Learning Management Systems beneficial but not critical

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment supporting workers in many countries and with multiple cultures

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks virtually

  • Experience in Microsoft applications, critically Microsoft Excel

  • Highly developed communications, organisation and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate fluently in English

  • Proven ability to work with confidential data, only releasing reports to those legally entitled to the content.

  • Experience of delivering against Service Level agreements

  • Ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve using creative solutions

  • Knowledge of testing and change documentation

  • Data Analysis experience

  • Sound knowledge of the above-mentioned applications

Job Dimensions

This role will likely be required to do some shift work in order to provide extended global coverage hours from the HR Solutions team at the Global HR Centre. The two shifts planned are the regular shift (9 am-6 pm local time) and the afternoon shift (2 pm-11 pm local time).
