As a Software Engineer you will be tasked with providing technical capabilities for planning and implementing system installation, upgrades, configuration, and related change control and verification activities for our Abbott site in Olst. You will provide day-to-day support including problem resolution and coordination of operational activities. You will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations for improved system operations.

Across our office in Olst we continue to innovate and to solve complex challenges within the pharmaceutical industry while planning exciting developments that lie ahead.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop customer driven solutions to meet market requirements.

• Execute software development life cycle activities from software requirements, design and implementation through to testing and documentation.

• Provide technical guidance during the implementation of projects to assure alignment with architecture and technology standards.

• You will develop a deep understanding of the business impact of supported systems, establish and maintain technical support service levels and ensure that they are being met on a consistent basis.

Skills:

• BSc. (HBO) in Computer Science or similar

• Experience with programming languages, preferably Javascript, Java, Jscript .NET or C#

• Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Experience with databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or other)

• Fluent in Dutch and English language (verbally as well as in writing).

• You are used to achieving deadlines and targets individually but also within a team

• You think out of the box and bring new ideas to the table
