The mission of the Planning & Fulfillment function is to support profitable growth by ensuring the accurate tactical planning of our demand and our operations, optimizing inventory and resource management and the perfect fulfillment of customers’ orders. This mission is achieved by balancing and improving five metrics: customer on-time delivery, inventory, lead-time, forecast accuracy and resource optimization.

We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

This is a Material Planner role reporting to the Sales Operations Manager in the Business Area - Electrification located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

• Managing the stock profile including ABC/XYZ/FMR (Product classification), safety stock level and so on.
• Dealing with the aging stock, Inventory Turnover (ITO) and request on time delivery (ROTD) improvement, monitoring stock out at Stock Keep Unit (SKU) Level.
• Creating Supply plan based on demand plan, make proposal to balance gap between demand and supply. Collaborating with factory, Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE), fulfillment and order handling, managing product phase in and phase out.
• Managing supplier performance including supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), supplier lead time management and operation cost balance.
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicator (KPI), reporting, data analyzing.Supporting sales and operations planning (S&OP) meeting with Sales, marketing, controlling and Suppliers.
• Improving on time delivery and optimizing Inventory, streamlining supply chain from order process to delivery and maintaining material master.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree with 10 years of working experience in logistics order handling, planning & fulfillment, inventory management and S&OP.
• JDA Or SAP - IBP experience is preferred .
• Must be Familiar with MRP/SAP, advanced knowledge of Excel/PPT/Visio.
• Strong communication, leadership and influence skill, logical thinking.
• Must be familiar with data analysis, problem solving, L6S and project management skill.
• Must be fluent in English.
