Job Purpose/Overview
The Operations Supervisor responsible for the productivity and efficiency of daily freight
processing, stock room organization, inventory control and merchandise replenishment. The
primary purpose of this position is to meet all shipment processing /replenishment standards,
inventory control and productivity goals so that our guests will have a memorable experience.


Key Responsibilities
M&M’s BRAND AMBASSADOR and PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
• Reviews store’s data to ensure effective orders and product placements across all
categories.
• Acts as a positive role model for others by demonstrating passion and enthusiasm
• Manage waste and shrink control to ensure Loss Prevention targets are met.
CUSTOMER FOCUS:
• Display the Guest Experience standards daily and consistently to provide
exceptional guest service and enthusiastically create an unforgettable experience
through personal interactions with our guests and ensuring the retail floor is fully
stocked and is visually appealing; Big, Bold, and Branded.
• Supports the sales team on all operational needs.
• Ensure material numbers are scanning in the POS system, re-ticket as necessary
and product reference books are up to date.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUSINESS RESULTS:
• Actively works towards hitting store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Role models the behaviors of an effective Manager on Duty to ensure
achievements of all sales objectives and goals.
• Actively seeks feedback from peers and Management on ways to self-develop to
add value to the team.
FRIENDSHIP and COLLABORATION:
• Educates and coaches Associates on merchandising processing, new product
knowledge, selling strategies and merchandise presentation techniques.
• Works with pace and drive to execute the needs of the Manager on Duty.
• Works with visual associates to create and maintain visual standards.
PUNCTUALITY and INTEGRITY:
• Compliance to all company policies and procedures including processing
standards, food safety standards, inventory control, Loss Prevention and Emergency
procedures to ensure we remain compliant throughout the year.
• Training new Associates, as needed.
• Exemplifies The Five Principles of Mars and The Associate Concept
INITIATIVE and JUDGEMENT:
• Coordinates truck, moves merchandise to floor for processing and replenishments
Onstage as well as floor replenishment rooms
• Initiates and completes cycle counts accurately and efficiently reports findings to
stakeholders.
• Place timely and efficient orders for store supplies
Other duties as assigned by the management team


Context and Scope
This role functions as a role model for the Operations Associates by providing directives
in handling the back of house freight processing, stock room organization, and
merchandise replenishment. The Operations Supervisor also supports the
Manager by being a liaison to the Associates ultimately ensuring our operational
standards are met so that Guests can have an excellent EXPERIENCE.

Education & Professional Qualifications
• High School Degree


Knowledge / Experience
• Experience in a retail location, with emphasis on freight processing and replenishment
