As a Logistic Officer you will be responsible for ensuring availability by managing the service station's stock of spare parts and equipment, in Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will manage the Inventory, purchasing of material for jobs and stock replenishment.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible (incl. forecasts) for spare parts inventory for all required TC types, managing auxiliary material needed for service
• Purchasing of material for jobs and/or stock replenishment under consideration of economic aspects (costs, quantity, delivery time, etc.)
• Being responsible for the administration of reception and expedition of goods including import and export documents
• Defining the replenishment figures with sales and workshop, ensuring continuous stock management, managing adequate inventory levels considering available master information
• Supporting for inquiries, clarification of availability / delivery time, management of transport supplier (incl. shipping documents), organizing procurement and storage of goods
• Entering / maintaining master data in local ERP (incl. minimum inventory level, forecasts, etc.)
• Supervising (incl. forecasts) spare parts assortment with the aim of minimizing capital lockup while ensuring required availability
• Ensuring stock inventory based to local guidelines including data simplification, minimizing depreciation and improve stock turnover without affecting the service quality

Your background

• 3 years of working experience related to logistics (At least 1-year experience in material planning)
• Sound knowledge in ERP (SAP or other)
• Handling of several different generations of ABB Turbochargers
• Maintaining high availability rate of service spares
• Limitation of slow movers and scrap rate, considering economical aspects defined by management
• Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics or supply chain management
• Good command of English Spoken and written (CET6 or above)
