As a Platform Security Operation Engineer you will be responsible for responsible of regular cybersecurity administration including inventory management, account management, in Process Automation Business Area in Beijing, China.

Reporting to the IS Department Manager, you will Inspect/audit system via security tools.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for regular cybersecurity administration including inventory management, account management, etc
• Executing vulnerability and patch management, anti-malware programs, and security hardening, ensuring system environment is configured and maintained in accordance to ABB cybersecurity policies
• Inspecting/auditing system via security tools/services against cyber intrusion and risk
• Executing incident emergency plan, analyzing/responding to incident event
• Executing business continuity plan to stay operational or recover without loss of data
• Coordinating with development team to implement security solution

Your background

• 3 years of experience in system administration, including following system backup/restore procedures, system security practices, user administration, operating systems configuration
• Sound knowledge of cybersecurity and understanding of cybersecurity risks, prevention measures, incident response and recovery techniques
• Hands-on experience with bastion host, VM(Linux and windows) and network security enhance configuration, intrusion prevention
• Hands-on experience with security test such as burp suite, fuzzing, vulnerability scanning, OWASP and relative mitigation measures
• Knowledge of programming skill, such as HTML, bash, git, power shell, etc
• A bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English, self-learning ability and good teamwork
