As a Business Controller you will be responsible for controlling process lead for function OPX in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.

Reporting to the Senior Business Controller, you will provide effective business decisions by monitoring, analysing and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate productivity in various business and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Serving as the key partner for the relevant function head in determining strategy for areas of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy implementing and making adjustment in implementation as needed
• Contributing to definition of key performance indicators. Monitoring financial performance of the function, identifying issues and advises management on action plans and productivity optimization.
• Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensuring compliance with corporate and business standards, regulations and guidelines. Supporting internal and external audits
• Leading cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals. Ensuring continuous improvement in the functional controlling process in alignment with policy and business need. Driving process standardization and optimization initiatives across all functions
• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility
• Ensuring that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies

Your background

• 3 years of work experience in similar role with SAP and data analytical tools such as PowerBI preferred
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end process, systems, and data flows across organization at business and finance side
• Knowledge of ABB business set-up and interconnections
• Excellent skill in MS Office
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Good problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externally
• English proficiency in speaking and written preferred
