About Lenovo Manufacturing & Engineering: In Lenovo Manufacturing & Engineering (LME), part of our Global Supply Chain, we operate in a fast paced environment that requires regular transformation of our global operations to remain competitive and mitigate disruptions.  That is why we are looking for a highly dynamic individual to join our global strategy and operations team.  This position is based in Morrisville, North Carolina at our campus in Research Triangle Park. The Senior Risk Manager position will report to the Director of LME Global Strategy & Operations.  This role will be a critical part of our manufacturing and supply chain strategy team where our mission is to drive more resilience into our operations via our agile network and smart mfg operations. This individual will identify, manage and lead a variety of senior projects focused on risk identification, analysis and mitigation, improving the resilience of our network, driving synergies across our business units and collaborating with the global supply chain functions.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated team building, project management and leadership experience. #### Position Requirements: \- Manage Lenovo Manufacturing’s risk mitigation program and subordinate processes and extended team’s specific to our Global Mfg Footprint \- Develop process for initial risk review assessment per mfg location based on services and goods to be provided and potential risk areas identified \- Collaborates with Global Supply Chain to provide elevated review and advisory services of risk areas for mfg sites or unique circumstances that could impact business continuity \- Act as subject matter expert to benchmark mfg risk management externally to define best practices and continuously improve our program \- Coordinate cross-organizationally to ensure risks are disseminated, coordinated, and mitigated via a standard analysis and mitigation process \- Provide key program metrics to leadership in a dashboard format \- Collaborate with internal Security and Data teams to leverage new technology to improve mfg risk identification \- Manage Lenovo’s Mfg risk management framework, including identification and prioritization of all risk factors \- Address and track reported risk events, potential risk areas, and ensure they are appropriately mitigated Position Requirements: \- 10+ years experience in a fast paced, high volume, global mfg/supply chain and/ or consulting environment \- Demonstrated process improvement/development, project management and Lean process analysis \- An understanding of supply chain risk and proven experience deploying programs to identify and mitigate risk globally \-  Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead, develop and deploy complex projects, cost analysis and programs across functional boundaries \- Must be self motivated and capable of working on a global team across multiple time zones                      - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations or related field required, post graduate work/MBA preferred We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
