Job Title: Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting
- Work closely with Tower Leads to prepare annual budgets and Quarterly Forecasts. Act as an advisor to department lead in formulating their budget submissions.
- Analyse financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for determining past financial performance and to project a financial probability.
- Financial Statement analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement to derive Forecasts/Estimate consensus.
- Review proposed budget submissions from department for accuracy and completeness.
- Collate final budgeted financial statements with analyses of variances against prior year.
- Prepare budget commentary and analyses for various packs and stakeholders.
- Maintain the budgeting policies and procedures.
- Meet with budget owners monthly to review results, explain significant variances against budget and prior year, and identify actions required to bring the results back to budget where required.
Reporting & Variance Analysis
- Submit monthly management reports and Board Reports with analyses and commentaries to CFO within agreed timelines.
- Preparation of Monthly MISs / KPIs / Dashboards / Other Finance deliverables to be shared with Leadership Team, global business and finance stakeholders.
- Preparation of various flash and exceptional reports. Bring highlight / lowlights to the attention.
- Develop financial models.
- Work with Tower Leads and develop reporting matrix for Business Units.
- Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various company reports. Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
Accounting & Month End Close
- Candidate should be well versed in prepare and review of reconciliation and analysis of ledger balances, vendor reconciliation, prepaid Expenses.
- Candidate to review and process non-purchase order’s invoices and other claims
- Coordinate to ensure timely review & closer of vendor, employee open items
- Handling employee and vendor query
- Candidate to prepare accrual/provision
- Candidate to prepare inter-company monthly invoices and able to perform month-end and year-end
- Co-ordinate and assist in the annual audits i.e. Internal/External audits including preparation of various audit schedules and assist the auditors in their inquiries
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Should be aware of Indian tax provisions especially with respect to withholding taxes & GST.
- Import/Export payment and documentation as per FEMA & RBI rules. Experience of handling BRO, LC, CAD etc.
Education & Experience
- CA/ICWA/CPA/MBA (candidates pursuing professional qualifictions can also apply).
- 3-6 Years of relevant experience
- Hands on experience in financial planning & analysis, reporting, accounting and month end close.
- Experience with working on financial management aspects of ITES Companies
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel (Building models & reports, analytical tools, consolidation, macros etc.)
- Very well versed in preparation of Leadership decks / slides
- Fimiliarity or exposure to SAP - most of the analytics will be done on SAP data
- BI / Find+ experience is a plus but not required
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently with ownership
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Must have the ability to work closely with personnel from various departments and all levels of management
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to deliver on new roles and responsibilities on Adhoc basis
- A solid base of accounting knowledge, Proficient problem solving and fact-finding skills
