Job Description
Position Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous person to join us as the
E-Commerce Manager, to lead the 4P’s strategy, having 3 main priorities:
1) Drive the E-commerce growth;
2) Drive profitability, being accountable for the E-commerce P&L;
3) Ensure the best E2E experience for the customers which is searching for
Lenovo products on Lenovo.com and Marketplace partners.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for planning and execution of Lenovo.com and Marketplace
official stores, defining portfolio, pricing, placement and promotional
calendar, keeping control of the inventory of each product line and the
governance of the eCommerce P&L;
Manage product launches, transitions, and content, for notebooks, desktops,
displays, accessories and services;
Track the daily performance of the website, monitoring visits, conversion
rate, revenue and margin;
Prepare weekly performance analysis with appropriate recovery plans and/or
opportunities for further growth clearly articulated;
Work with the Leadership team and Finance counterparts to ensure the
investment is budgeted in relevant financial year plan;
Co-ordination between all relevant partners and stakeholders related to the
4P strategy. Understand the impact to all relevant cross-functional teams and
provide instruction/guidance;
Understand the back office (process and systems) that support Lenovo.com and
Marketplace, including order placement, portfolio maintenance (SKUs, pricing,
inventory, lead times), finance reconciliation and post-sales demands.
Develop the scope and project plan for any new program related to 4P,
working closely with relevant cross-functional teams to develop CBA and sizing
to ensure that we are maximizing ROI
Work closely with local and global counterparts to understand global best
practice, utilizing learnings where possible
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs,
simplify, improve performance, learn and share best practices with other
organizations and countries
Identify and address the resolution of the issues in the operation
(performance, prices, compliance, etc.)
#### Position Requirements:
Solid experience in Ecommerce business with a track record of measurable
results preferably in the consumer electronics or IT industry
In-depth knowledge of the Ecommerce landscape: Relevant experience or
equivalent combination of education and work experience in eCommerce
Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively
across functions and lines of business in a virtual organization
Solid project management skills with an organized and capable nature
Proven ability to plan and prioritize workloads and measure progress
Strong analytical and research skills; focus on P&L performance, forecasting
/ planning and budget management
Excellent written, oral and listening skills at all levels of the business.
Strong communicator with an ability to constructively challenge, facilitate
and probe to fully understand the business need. ability to clearly relay
messages to Senior leadership
Excellent inter-personal skills to create and maintain effective cross-
functional relationships
Ability to think strategically and develop detailed creative and innovative
solutions to problems
Ability to work under pressure, meets deadlines, remain positive and calm
Fluent English is required
MBA is preferred
